Thanks For The Subscription!

Journal Entry: Mon Nov 23, 2009, 12:56 AM

Hi,
First of all i would like to say a huge THANKS to whoever gave me my subscription. If u would like to let me know who u are i will gladly do a drawing for u of whatever u like. I have been pretty moneyless for th last lttle while as putting together a professional portfolio can be quite costly so i really appreciate this cos i wasnt sure when i would next get a chance to renew my sub.

In other news, i have finally finished my portfolio and im so proud of it. Its very pretty and colourful and the printers did an amazing job printing it for me. We are also busy getting ready for my end of year exhibition at my college as well. It starts on the 2nd of Dec and there will be a few industry professionals there to view mine and my class mates work. I am very excited about it all.

I also am trying a few new ways of painting which are a little different to my usual style and am finding that i largely enjoy the painterly style and i will do it much more often. I am a bit uninspired at the moment though so any suggestions would be helpful :)

Anyway, ciao for now,
Nichelle

If you need inspiration you can always go out and people watch. It's a great way to just relax and look at things. Observation always leads to good art.

I keep a sketchbook that i do observational drawings in daily. Its pretty helpful but i cant seem to think of themes or anything to get my creative juices flowing...
Thanks for the suggestion though :D

No problem, and observational sketchbooks are great things to keep. :D Mad props on that one.
