It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Hey all... only 3 more weeks to go until the end of the first yr of my Diploma!! YAY!! It means that i'll have heaps and heaps of time to devote to doing prettyful drawings! Unfortunately it also means that for the next 3 weeks or so im not going to have much time to do any postable art cos its all going to be spent doing the major assignments that will be due at the end of those 3 weeks.

That really sux cos im already feeling like i havent done any in a while

Oh well, ill just have to suck it up and rejoice in the fact that after those 3 painful weeks ill have more time to myself than ill know what to do with it! Ive also been kept very busy with numerous amounts of logo/ design jobs for various businesses and commissioned character designs for a low profile, beginner graphic novel that still has no name... they r working on it lol.
Unfortunately im contracted in such a way that doesnt allow me to post or share any of the art... u know, copyright and all... sorry.
Its lots of fun though and this is the second time they have hired me to do character designs for a graphic novel of theirs, the first one was called Assassins Shadow i think, it was a real fun challenge cos the characters were all so well written i had to try and convey their personality in a way that did justice to the writing, lotsa fun!!
Im also doing a couple of commissioned illustrations for some friends of mine with creative vision. I love commissioned work, its so much fun to have an idea given to u and then to make it come to life in ur own creative style!

Well anyway i promise there will be more posts in 3 weeks time and i apologise for the lack thereof in the meantime.

I just like gifts, I rarely get them unless I ask. I had to ask for this one, but I'll still love it. Only thing that could make it better is if I can get my hands on a red lightsaber that really lights up, believe they are FX Lightsabers.

That sounds so fantastic. A red lightsaber would be very awesome too... i wonder if theyve invented laser technology that good yet? If they have i bet the government doesnt want anyone to know about it lol

There is a lot of things the government doesn't want us to know.
But they have lightsabers that are just a large tube that has a light inside it, my friend has one, looks very cool, and having it for pictures would look sweet, but she wouldn't lend it to me because she isn't really a friend anymore, her choice, so I want my own.
